Instructional music/voice lessons:

Private lessons are $25 per half hour with a four lesson commitment. Lessons are available for children through older adults (from beginners to experienced). Schedule is arranged with the instructor. Come in to meet our teachers and for more information.

Sy's story -
I retired last year so I thought, what am I going to do with the rest of my life? The only instrument I played was a phongraph... I always loved classical music even as a child. My parents didn't offer music. Now's the time. Scott is the guy! I would highly recommend Scott. my goal is to play something classical for my birthday in September. He says I'll make it.

Madeline's story-
I've always loved singing. I studied on and off my whole life. Scott is incredibly patient, encouraging, nurturing, and most importantly - HE KNOWS HIS STUFF! I had terrible stage fright. You need the right attitude from the teacher. Scott has made it possible for me.

David's story -
A few months ago I decided to take up guitar. It is something that I had wanted to do for years but work, life, and family always seemed to take up the time. On a whim, I walked into Marathon Music. I felt a whole new world open up to me. I met Rich Excellente, "The Guitar Man." Within a few minutes he made me believe that a middle aged guy like me could learn to play. He helped pick out a guitar that fit me, and I started on the path to making music..... How am I doing? Well, I'm not ready to tour just yet, but I am having a great time and improving quickly. Rich has an innovative yet relaxed style of teaching. His students are young and the not so young. He is truly "The Guitar Man". I look forward to each step on my path, and perhaps one day we will kick around a tune or two.
